Trade relations between Spain and India are increasing, so CST has strengthened its shipping service with this country.

Due to the improvement of the Indian economy in the last years and its medium and long term growth perspective, at the CST Group we have decided to reinforce our services of maritime transport of goods to India through the collaboration with the freight forwarding company Tulsidas Khimji.

Predictions about the economic situation in India place the country among the world’s leading powers in the next 10 years, and evidence of this is now beginning to be seen in the balance sheets of its companies and their satellite accounts. In connection with these improvements, India’s international relations have been enhanced, which is directly related to the increase in freight transport.

So much so that the latest reports forecast a 13% percent increase in the total volume of freight transport by 2020, presenting a very favourable outlook for the next two years. This is particularly noteworthy in maritime transport, since it represents a high percentage of total international movements.

Strengthening the shipping service benefits companies in both countries

And how does all this affect Spain specifically? The truth is that the above-mentioned figures have advanced in line with the trade relations between India and our country, making it their seventh trading partner according to the volume of transactions and having the European Union as a framework.

All of this translates into an increase in the transport needs of companies in both countries, since they need wider coverage to connect them. In this way, thanks to the collaboration of the CST Group and the Indian company Tulsidas Khimji, it will be possible to cover the growing demand that already exists at present and that will continue its ascent in the next periods.

Thus, the CST Group plans to cover shipments between both countries through its major ports, such as Nhava sheva, located in Mumbai and Munda Port, located in the state of Gujarat.

The CST Group continues its expansion

Our freight forwarding and customs management company has more than 25 years of experience in international freight transport, covering land, sea and air routes, and offering complementary services such as customs warehousing.

With a team of professionals with extensive experience, we address the whole world and have extensive knowledge of different markets, thus ensuring a quality service.

With the aim of encouraging movements with and from India, at the CST Group we are expanding relations with this country and connecting any part of Spain and the rest of Europe with it, thanks to our relationship with the main ports of each country and the various specialized partners we have.
